I regret to inform you that I missed the Predators footage Friday night. Robert Rodriguez presented two trailers and one scene from the upcoming film, directed by Nimrod Antal and produced by Rodriguez. Below are two concept images from the film from our friends at FEARnet, and you can now visit http://www.predators-movie.com/ to see some footage from the film, and another awesome picture of our dreadlocked friend.

The first image is obviously a Predator wearing what appears to be armor, and the second looks like a native creature from …

The director of Deadfall Trail was cool enough to send us a new trailer for his film, which is the latest in this year’s offering of intense backwoods horror. As opposed to the previous teaser trailers (shown here) this one gives us a guide through the wilderness in the form of a slightly underwhelming narrator. However, get past that and you have a white knuckled immersion into the madness of Deadfall Trail, to include a glimpse into that famous bloodbath scene (and we’re talking a literal …

I just got done watching the below five minute teaser trailer for upcoming horror western film Silver Moon and am not quite sure what I think. It’s got some serious potential that’s for sure, but I’m not a big fan of digitally enhanced gore and effect work. That reaction is probably more of a wishy washy feeling than director Travis Stevens would like to hear as his video page states that “If Sergio Leone made a horror movie, this would be it.” Sorry Travis, but …

I had recently been talking to Swedish filmmaker Filip Tegstedt about completely unrelated business when I caught the screener for his upcoming film Marianne. I had already caught a glimpse of some preliminary artwork, which I won’t share here since I don’t have his blessing, but did reach out to find out more regarding this rather cool looking pilot trailer.
Filip tells us: None of the footage in the clip online will be in the final film. It’s basically just a test reel, to show off the …

Not to be confused with the Poppy Z. Brite book of the same name, Exquisite Corpse is a new movie that is set to premiere in some far off region of the world where none of us are going to have the slightest chance to see it. (That place being Berlin, Germany). This is a shame because after a single viewing of the trailer I’m hooked. This looks good. It looks original and quite frankly – I’d like to see more. Let’s just …

Remember that 3 minute long trailer I posted for you all almost a year ago for a really sweet looking zombie film based in South Africa? No? Okay, well at least I’ve now found validation in bringing you some updated news. Looks like The Dead has finally wrapped and currently the producers are looking for a little distribution love. Not only that but they have a brand new trailer for you to check out.
Personally, I think you’ll get a better vibe for the feel …

Here’s one you won’t find readily elsewhere. We just discovered this newly minted trailer and I have to admit – it’s downright sick. I’m not going to say this film actually looks good, because it doesn’t. I see far too many slashers in the course of any given year for that. To me, it looks like just another vicious slasher. However, that being said – this trailer is cool as shit and features some rather jaw dropping madness. I wouldn’t be surprised to …

If you’re like me, you didn’t watch Spike TV’s 2009 Scream Awards. I’m not here to bash televised awards for horror films, but the truth is that most of the movies they hand out statues to are just plain awful (ahem, those sparkly vampire movies everyone’s got their panties twisted about). But what if there were a magical place where, with just the click of a button, you can find videos of the things that happen during those underwhelming awards shows? Oh, right. We have the internet. Good …

Apple has just posted a new trailer for Universal’s revamping of The Wolfman, which you can download in standard or HD.
I have to admit, I’m still not sold on the CG transformation. Call me a purist, but better effects can be achieved with practical make-up and minimal animation. People throw Rick Baker’s name around a lot in this argument, and for good reason: Baker made the werewolf transformation iconic in An American Werewolf in London. After that, he went on to work on Universal’s first attempt to renovate …
