Be still my beating heart. Cigarette Burns Cinema has teamed up with Scotland’s Psychotronic Cinema and the excellent Scalarama to bring The Last House on the Left to the UK exactly as its meant to be seen: on original 35mm. Making six stops throughout September, this promises to be a really special event you won’t want to miss if you like your cinema daring, enduring and downright disturbing.

As if that wasn’t enough, One Way Static Records have pressed an exclusive flexi disc of the original radio spots for the film, which will be available only at these screenings, with a limited run of 200 copies only. That’s not all – the very last copies of the Record Store Day picture disc of the unforgettable score to The Last House on the Left will also be available at these screenings. Blimey!

I know I’ve gone on and on about how much I love everything about The Last House on the Left on this website (and if you want more where that came from, pick up a Scalarama newspaper, soon to be found across the country…) – but once more I can’t stress how exciting this tour is. A classic piece of brutal cinema on original 35mm is something to really look forward to.

I’ll be trying my best to get to at least one of these dates, and hopefully you can too:
