Early Trailer for Dario Argento’s ‘Dracula 3D’

I can’t believe I just sat through this pile of steaming feces. The newly released trailer for Dracula 3D has to be the worst cut trailer I’ve seen all year, and I don’t mean that with any hint of hyperbole. It’s truly horrendous. It makes a laughing stock of Rutger Hauer, Asia Argento and everyone else involved in this project. Dario Argento, heralded master of horror, legendary gore maestro, has created a film that looks like Charles Band shit it out after a hard night of boozing. I mean, I get that this is not complete, in terms of effects work, but my criticism has more to do with the content. Plus, if you don’t have a good film pre-3D effects it certainly isn’t going to be better with the cheap gimmick applied. Seriously, I have to ask – is there anyone out there actually looking forward to this?

Now before you accuse me of being overly condescending let me just say that up until this point I feel like I’ve done my due. I’ve given this film a wide berth of clearance and held out hope in the face of those who cashed in their chips far earlier. (see an earlier post But after this travesty? Good God, but would someone just please make it stop!?
