Blu-ray News: ‘The Hills Have Eyes’ Cover Art, Release Date Announced
by Marc Patterson
With Image Entertainment having purchased a good deal of Anchor Bay’s back catalog we’re starting to see a slow progression of these title released to Blu-ray. The latest among them is what I like to call Wes Craven’s fucked-up version of A Tale of Two Cities, The Hills Have Eyes. On one side you have the all-American family headed West through the desert. On the other, a group of desert-dwelling cannibals. When our protagonists take some poor advice from a suspect gas station attendant they land themselves in a world of hurt amongst the tribe of savage cannibals.
Currently there is no word on the Blu-ray specs, or extra features. Release date is set for September 6th.
