Horror In Short: Drew Daywalt’s ‘The Closet’

I always enjoy watching Drew Daywalt’s short films. Every time he premieres a new one I make sure I can take a quiet moment in a dimly lit room to soak every frame in. He is a true master of horror, packing more suspense and fear into his shorts than some “horror” filmmakers produce during an entire ninety-minute production. I would always rather be left craving for more than wishing for those credits to roll as soon as possible. With Daywalt I’m ALWAYS asking for more. He just “gets” what the genre is all about.
His latest piece is simply called The Closet, and while it rings in at under 3 minutes, it’s quite an enjoyable piece, which stars Brea Grant, Bonnie Aarons and Kaylee Score.
