AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ Season Two Possibly Pushed to July
File this under rumors, allegations, and unsubstantiated bullshit. But whatever you do – file it. There is the distinct possibility, however slight, that The Walking Dead Season Two will get a premiere date in July of 2011, as opposed to its original announced air date of October 2011. For those of us who are impatient to dive into the second season this is great news. The summertime is potentially about to get a hell of a lot better. Now I’m really going to have to scramble to catch up with my comic book reading (dork).
Where did we catch wind of such a thing? Well, it was a little tidbit buried deep in an interview with Breaking Bad’s Bryan Cranston. (Gotta love those Google alerts!) He’s talking about show dates, etc for Breaking Bad and Mad Men and states “It was a decision from AMC that they wanted to position us in July, along with Mad Men. And I believe they’re going to put Walking Dead in July as well.”
Okay, so that’s far official and certainly lives in the land of conjecture, but we’ll take it and hold onto it for what its worth. You? Well you do with it what you will. As always – we’ll be keeping you updated as it all goes down.
