DVD News: ‘The Walking Dead’ DVD/Blu-ray Release Date

Better late news than never…
Despite what you may have thought of AMC’s The Walking Dead compared to Robert Kirkman’s comics of the same name, when the characters weren’t stumbling around making horrible survival decisions (hanging out with a violent racist, running into a city populated entirely of the dead to save said violent racist), the television show brought some good ol’ late-night horror shenanigans to the tube when nothing else would.
Set to drop on March 8, 2011 on both DVD and Blu-ray formats, The Walking Dead will come to you courtesy of the folks at Anchor Bay. Known extras include making of webisodes, behind the scenes footage, and audio commentary.
Editor’s Note: It’s also been reported that season two is tentatively scheduled to air in October of 2011.
