First Images from Adam Green’s ‘Hatchet 2′

Just earlier today we got our greedy little paws on a couple of sweet hi-res images from Adam Green’s upcoming film Hatchet 2, which give us a look at two well known names in the horror genre. The first is the always lovely Danielle Harris as the new Marybeth. I guess you can’t have a good slasher flick without a shower scene, not that I’m complaining. (Thank you Mr. Hitchcock). And then of course is a man who needs no introduction. One look into this man’s eyes will send shivers down your spine. Yes, it is Tony Todd, who in Hatchet 2 portrays a menacing Reverend Zombie!
While there’s no official synopsis to date Hatchet 2 will pick up where Hatchet ended, following Marybeth as she struggles to escape the clutches of Victor Crowley. Once free she learns of Crowley’s secret and in a brazen move she returns to the swamp to take down Crowley and avenge her family. Wow. Good times folks… good times…
The film is slated to premiere this year at London’s Film4 FrightFest, which runs from August 26-30 at . Come hell or high water we’ll be there to bring you coverage. Now enjoy those photos! (click to view at full size)
