We Concede, We’re Finally Posting Some Love for Freddy

It’s not that we have some kind of embargo against Freddy Kreuger over here. We don’t. I love the guy. I own all the films, and am even curious about what the new film from Platinum Dunes has in store for us. I just don’t see the need to post relentlessly about every “glimpse” or “first look” or teaser trailer for the film. It makes me too claustrophobic to have that much coverage in one space. We prefer to help give the underdogs and indie’s a bit of a boost in coverage.
Well by now you’ve seen the image from Entertainment Weekly. If you haven’t then feast your eyes on it below. Good for EW in getting the first real good look at Freddy. No mock-ups. No teasers. No photo tweaking. Just a straight up Heeerrre’s Freddy! But to all the other horror sites out there – what’s with all the watermarking folks? C’mon… It’s not your exclusive. Let’s spread some watermark free love to the masses. Let’s enjoy Freddy without your brand. (Yeah, this post is half rant/half news. I’m just in that kind of a mood. Sue me.) So in the spirit of spreading some love to the horrorsphere – get a look at Freddy, save it and pass it on!
