New Trailer for Gaspar Noe’s ‘Enter The Void’
Anyone who spends any amount of time around here knows that I’m a pretty big fan of Gaspar Noe and that I’ve been biting at the bit to get a look at his new film Enter The Void. Thanks to the guys at QuietEarth I found a new trailer for the film that shows previously unseen footage. What more can I say? I’m psyched, and remain psyched to see this film… no matter how long it takes. Word has it that we’ll see it this year, but who knows. I haven’t heard a peep out of the the folks at IFC.
Official synopsis and trailer below. Be sure to also check out our previous coverage, with two additional trailers!
Synopsis: Loosely inspired by the Tibetan Book of the Dead, Enter The Void centers on Oscar and his sister Linda, recent arrivals in Tokyo. Oscar is a small time drug dealer, and Linda works as a nightclub stripper. One night, Oscar is caught up in a police bust and shot. As he lies dying, his spirit, faithful to the promise he made his sister – that he would never abandon her – refuses to abandon the world of the living. His spirit wanders through the city, his visions growing evermore distorted, evermore nightmarish. Past, present and future merge in a hallucinatory maelstrom.
