Get Some ‘Movie Monster Insurance’ While At Ghouls on Film This Weekend!

I was just chatting with the hip horror chick Paula Haifley of Hey Flea Productions, who will be showing her short film Monster Movie Insurance this weekend at the Ghouls on Film Women in Horror Recognition fest at Birmingham’s Custard Factory (get details on the fest here) As mentioned in Ben’s post, the short’s will start playing at 3PM, so make sure to get in early to check this one out.
For those of you not in the UK, or who are simply unable to attend (you know… folks like me) we’re doing you a solid and posting the short right here for you to check out! The film is a horror comedy that plays out like a kitchy commercial that might come from the mind John Waters. It’s different from the highly violent exploitive type horror we typically post about, but I have to admit – I really liked it in the same way I dig on the novelty of Flight of the Conchords. Whoa… that was a lot of off the wall references right there. How about this… just check it out, and if you’re in the Birmingham area get on over to the Ghouls on Film weekend event!
