Italian Zombie Horror Abounds in ‘Eaters’

Zombies, zombies, and more fuckin’ zombies. It seems we just can’t get enough of those undead. You know what I’d like to see? Zombies vs. Cannibals. Do it total Italian throwback style. A primitive tribe of headshrinking cannibals takes on a horde of zombies. Who will live? Who will survive? Who cares! Into the middle of the foray we’ll drop a troop of ultra hot American documentarians/photojournalists. A couple of blonde bombshells and a pair of hunky tour guides who’ll take them deep into the jungle. (Hey now!) Hot steamy sex, zombies, cannibals… gahhhh… Oh man, where’s the Morricone soundtrack?
Anyway – Where was I? Oh yeah – Italians. Speaking of Italians word dropped about a new zombie flick from Italy called Eaters and it wouldn’t be like us not to dish out the skinny…
From Marco Ristori and Luca Boni, and presented by none other than Uwe Boll comes a post-apocalyptic zombie film that will have you chewing at your skin. The synopsis from the good folks over at DreadCentral.com: After being devastated by a deadly epidemic, the world is now governed by hordes of living dead. Locked in a fortress that has been turned into a research center and shelter, three men – zombie hunters Igor and Alen and a scientist named Gyno – are trying to find an answer to what has happened to the human race.
