Rodrigo Gudiño, president and founder of infamous Rue Morgue magazine (a subscription most of you probably have), is the latest guest to be added to the 2010 Texas Frightmare Weekend line-up. Rue Morgue Magazine is more than just that, with their own film label, radio show, annual “Festival of Fear” convention, and monthly film screenings.

On top of having Rodrigo Gudiño present at TFW, the convention will be presented by Rue Morgue in conjunction with Anchor Bay Entertainment. Gudiño is also the writer of Curious Stories, Crooked Symbols, featuring his award-winning shorts The Eyes of Edward James, The Demonology of Desire, and The Facts in the Case of Mr. Hollow. All of these will be screened at TFW, and Gudiño will be there to answer questions and talk about his upcoming remake of the 1972 film, Cut Throats Nine.

Texas Frightmare Weekend will take place from April 30 to May 2, 2010 in Dallas. I’ll be there representing Brutal as Hell and hanging out with the cool kids from Team Hurricane Loves You. I look forward to seeing some of your happy faces.
