Although it didn’t do as well as expected in theaters (especially with Diablo Cody’s name attached and Megan Fox half-naked), Jennifer’s Body was still a great film. At least I think so.

Video ETA says that Fox Home Entertainment is courting a December 29th release date, but this information is not yet confirmed. Naturally, no information on special features or Blu-ray has been announced as of this time, but I imagine if December is what they’re looking at, we should hear something in the next couple of weeks.

Honestly, I’m not sure I buy into this date. Even though the film underperformed (it grossed $18 million), 3 months is a short turn around for DVD and Blu-ray, and I imagine Fox will want to put Megan Fox (pun here somewhere) and her gorgeous behind in high definition. In addition, with the release date less than two months away, surely we’d be getting the cover art for one or both formats, and I wouldn’t just be telling you guys about a possible date.

Time will tell. All I know is that I want this film in my collection as soon as fucking possible. And for the record: Even though Megan Fox is, well, foxy (there it is), I’m more of an Amanda Seyfried girl.
