‘The Tormented’ Comes to IFC Festival Direct

October pours on so much horror its tough to actually get out there and enjoy the lighter side of the holiday season. But hey… I’m not complaining. This is my time of year! Today we found out that on October 21 IFC Festival Direct is brining the UK slasher/thriller Tormented to television screens across the US. You can read our review from the UK premiere right here where Ben Bussey compares to to a McDonald’s salad: “It might be striving to convey sophistication, and it might not taste too bad going down, but it’s still just junk food, disposable and ultimately forgettable.”
Of course, that’s not to say all fast food is bad. After all, a slasher is a slasher is a slasher. So check out the trailer below and come October 21 you make up your own mind.
