Lionsgate is releasing a heap of films on November 24th (in time for Thanksgiving…I guess?), including special editions like My Bloody Valentine: Special Edition, Cujo: 25th Anniversary Edition, and Monster Squad: 20th Anniversary Edition, as well as genre favorite Frailty, the directorial debut of one Mr. Bill Paxton.

Frailty stars Matthew McConaughey (I miss when he did roles like this, but those RomCom paychecks are mighty tempting, so I hear), Bill Paxton, Powers Boothe, and Matt O’Leary. The film is written by Brent Hanley and follows Fenton Meeks, the son of a religious fanatic father who had visions that led Fenton’s younger brother Adam to kill several people, believing them to be demons. The Blu-ray is presented in 1080p widescreen with 7.1 DTS HD Master Audio and French 5.1 Dolby Digital. The extras include three audio commentaries, “Anatomy of a Scene”, making-of, photo gallery, storyboards, and deleted scenes.

Cujo: 25th Anniversary Edition will also be released on Blu-ray. Based on the novel by Stephen King, Cujo tells the story of a St. Bernard who gets rabies after being bitten by an infected bat. The dog then terrorizes a mother son, trapping them in a car. Cujo stars Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro as the mother and son, respectively. The film is written by Don Carlos Dunaway and Lauren Currier, and directed by Lewis Teague (Cat’s Eye). This special Blu-ray edition is presented in 1080p High Definition 16×9 Widescreen with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Included on the disc are an audio commentary with the director, and the three-part documentary, “Dog Days: The Making of Cujo.”
