WTF Files: Lost Boys 3: The Thirst Headed Towards Production

Yep, just file this one directly under WTF. According to Bloody Disgusting (via Production Weekly) Warner Premiere has green lit Lost Boys 3: The Thirst, scripted by Evan Charnov. Without needing to be said this will skip theaters and head straight to video. Apparently ‘The Tribe’, though a total ball of suck, made enough revenue to cash in for a third film.
Some questions I have:
1. Will Tom Savini have learned his lesson from the cameo he made in the opening scene to’The Tribe’ and not come near this flick with a ten foot prosthetic?
2. Will Corey Feldman (who is slated to return) be using that ridiculous voice again? Or are we to assume he’ll need the assistance of a voice box?
3. Will the same cookie cutter plot be used, yet again?
Sure… these are dumb questions, but The Tribe was a dumb ass film. Unless something to the degree of the Second Coming is announced regarding this film you can count on this being our first and last post on the subject matter.
