As an update to our post this morning I promised to get a listing of the theaters that will be playing Paranormal Activity when it arrives in a limited release format this September 25th. Being a man of my word here’s the rundown…

Paranormal Activity will kick off its run in Austin, Texas during a midnight screening of Fantastic Fest on September 24th. Brutal As Hell will be there to cover this event as it’s sure to cause quite a stir. We’ll be bringing your our report following as our correspondent will likely not be able to sleep a wink that night!

Then, we have word that for the first time ever, fans around the country will also be able to see Paranormal Activity… for FREE in the following markets during concurrent midnight screenings:

  • Los Angeles (ArcLight Hollywood)
  • New York (Landmark Sunshine Theater)
  • San Francisco (The Castro)
  • Chicago (The Music Box)
  • Boston (The Coolidge)
  • Atlanta (The Plaza)
  • Seattle (Neptune)

We’ll have more details on these in the near future.

THEN, starting September 25 at midnight, you will be able to see Paranormal Activity in the following cities:

  • Austin (Alamo Draft House)
  • Seattle (Neptune)
  • Ann Arbor, Michigan (State)
  • Durham, North Carolina (Southpoint 16)
  • Baton Rouge, Louisiana (RAVE Mall of Louisiana 15)
  • Boulder, Colorado (Cinemark 16)
  • Columbus, Ohio (Studio 35)
  • Orlando, Florida (AMC Universal Cineplex)
  • Madison, Wisconsin (Marcus Eastgate 16)
  • Santa Cruz, California (Del Mar 3)
  • State College, Pennsylvania (Premiere College 9)
  • Tucson, Arizona (El Con)
  • Lincoln, Nebraska (Ross Media Center)

Additional midnight sneak peaks will follow on September 26, and October 1, 2 and 3.

    I live in a small town in Kansas (Liberal) Any chance it will ever get here?? Really want to see this movie. Hope it lives up to all it’s hype!!
