Let Me In Retitled…WTF?

Bloody Disgusting broke the news yesterday that Philip Seymour Hoffman is not cast in Let Me In. No word if Kodi Smit McPhee and Chloe Grace Moretz are verified casting.

Bloody Disgusting has also broken the news today that Let Me In begins filming in November in New Mexico (…what?) and that the title is no longer Let Me In. The new title is Fish Head.

….Yeah. Fish Head. Yesterday I was on the verge of being ready to reconcile with this adaptation, but now, after this title change, I…don’t even know what to say. This is fucking stupid. What does Fish Head have to do with anything? And why are they filming in New Mexico. I hope Production Weekly, who Bloody Disgusting cites as their source for this info, is full of shit. I hope this is a joke on behalf of some asshole dork who feels like inciting rage.Or maybe they’re reporting info on the wrong film. Maybe this Fish Head is a cover name for another film  – a Cloverfield sequel maybe – and they confused the info. I’m reaching, I know.

My fear is that this isn’t a joke. Color me fucking confused. If this movie turns into a story about a giant fish head that attacks people, then I will have lost even more hope in American  film making.
