Dawn of the Dead remake, sucked. Day of the Dead remake, sucked worse. Day of the Dead 2, sucked the most. Do we have a new challenger for this title, I doubt it. But I get it - it's a highly marketable title that's in the public domain. Romero can't stop it, nor will he make a dime. But I don't begrudge Ms Harris. She's a jobbing actress carving a clear niche for herself in the genre, and this is something that's sure to get a fair ammount of national attention, so I understand her taking the role. (Which is not to imply she has no discretion - bear in mind she had the good grace to turn down Halloween 6.)
