TRUE BLOOD Hottie, Deborah Ann Woll to star in MOTHERS DAY
Deborah Ann Woll, known better to True Blood Fans as the foxy red headed protege of vampire Bill Compton, has just been signed on to star in the remake of Charles Kaufman’s MOTHERS DAY film, being now directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Hot Damn! Ever since season two Woll has been steaming up the screen in every scene she’s in, and its truly exciting to see her staying in the genre. MOTHERS DAY is a backwoods Troma styled take on such films as Deliverance and Psycho. It encapsulated the heinous acts of a couple of brothers who murder, rape, and cause all sorts of chaos to a handful of female campers in order to appease their twisted mother. The Bousman directed remake has reported to be more a continuation of the first, rather than a remaking. It will pick up where the first left off, and introduce us to Woll’s character, who is reported to be a daughter of the psychotic mother.
Currently the plan is to get this shot and wrapped for a Mother’s Day 2010 release.
