Edges of Darkness picked up by Anchor Bay
Edges of Darkness, that intense looking indie zombie film we reported on some time ago has been picked up by Anchor Bay and is slated to hit DVD this September 22nd. Edges of Darkness had it’s UK TV premiere late last year on Zone Horror, and now will finally see a proper release stateside. No word on any extras at this time, but check out the newest poster art to have hit the web! Looks pretty sweet.
Edges of Darkness seems to borrow bits and pieces from films such as Mulbury Street and [REC], by centralizing on an apartment complex where three groups of people shelter themselves from a mass zombie outbreak. With a twist of style, it introduces a unique element showcasing one couple who are vampires, another guy who’s an obsessive novelist, and then a post-apocalyptic survivalist who rescues a mother and her son, only to find that they’re on the run from renegade priests who want to kill the kid!
