All Star Lineup for Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE
First – This is RUMOR. That being said, it’s comes from a solid source (bloodydisgusting.com) that the first four cast member for Robert Rodriguez’s next film MACHETE have been selected:
Danny Trejo – was a no brainer. The guy is Machete.
Michelle Rodriguez – not a pick out the park. She’s a natural for a film like this. She’s been cast as a character named “Luz”.
Jonah Hill – Okay. We would not have seen this one coming.
And the kicker? Robert fuckin’ De Niro as the role of Senator McLaughlin. Now if that’s true then we’ve got a very kick ass top casting lineup.
Reportedly production will begin on July 29. Robert Rodriguez will be co-directing with Ethan Maniquis.
Now – I will say this… if the film doesn’t have Jeff Fahey and Cheech Marin then what the fuck? Let’s hope for the best there.
