John Lithgow Joins Cast of Dexter
Broken news bitches. Read all about it. According to EW John Lithgow has joined the cast of Dexter. Reportedly he’ll be playing ‘Walter Simmons’, a serial killer dubbed ‘The Trinity Killer’ who is on the lam from Agent Lundy and where does he end up? In Miami of course. You know… because that’s where ALL the serial killers live. While in Miami he crosses paths with none other than our villainous hero Dexter. That’s stating the obvious. Otherwise we’d have no show. While I should have plenty of snarky darts to toss out about this casting choice I strangely don’t. Lithgow is an amazing actor, and is creepy as fuck. He should make for a phenomenal serial killer, though he’ll be no match for our man Dexter.
The new season of Dexter won’t be airing until September 27, so you’ve got plenty of time to cool your heels, stay alert for new broken news, and get ready for season 4. We’ll be dropping the bombs as they come. Stay tuned.
