I love waking up in the morning to a some great zombie action. THE DEAD is a zombie film set in the raw African landscape. An infection is spreading and two men, American soldier Lt Brian Murphy and a local soldier Daniel Dembele, must work together to find their way back to their respective homes, if anything remains to return to. Along the way they battle an endless onslaught of zombies. I have to be honest, this looks pretty great. Not flashy in a 28 Days Later kind of way, but it somehow has a real retro feel to the trailer, making it seem more like Fulci’s Zombi, right down to the synthy soundtrack.  Check out the trailer below.
